CLASSES

Our goal is for all the children to reach or exceed these objectives before leaving Crossing Point for Kindergarten:

  • Social and Emotional Development
  • Language and Communication
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Fine Arts
  • Physical Development 

In addition to their classroom, children attend 3 Special Classes: Movement, Chapel, and Science.


Classes run from 9-12pm with the option for Extended Care (7-9am and/or 2:30-5:30pm) and Lunch Bunch (12-2:30) programs available, offering families additional hours of quality care before and after class.

    2-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM OVERVIEW + SAMPLE SCHEDULE


    Children in this program should be 2 by September 1st.

  • Our program for three-year-olds is designed to encourage independence. Children are continually introduced to new experiences while focusing on enhancing fine motor skills, social skills, and academic knowledge in a faith-based setting. At three, it's all about individual growth! Being 3 is ALL ABOUT ME!


    We strive for the children to meet or exceed the objectives outlined above. It's important to note that these goals apply to the entire school. Our three-year-olds will start working on them, aiming to achieve or exceed them by the time they complete the four-year-old program!  


    We offer three-year-old classes with these enrollment options:

    • Mon/Wed/Fri
    • Tues/Thurs
    • Mon-Thurs
    • Mon-Fri*

    4-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM OVERVIEW + SAMPLE SCHEDULE


    Children in this program should be 4 by September 1st.

  • Our TK class is designed to give children the gift of another year for growth and development before starting kindergarten. The class provides the children with an introduction to a structured school environment including specific tasks at centers, "teacher table," journal writing, etc. The children are provided with large and small group instructions as well as individual help during small group instruction.

    This class is ideal for children with summer birthdays, children recommended by previous teachers, and children whose parents feel the need to give their child an extra year to grow before beginning kindergarten.
